How much does HR software cost in Saudi Arabia?

The cost of an HR system is read from its unit, not its price. A per-employee price is multiplied by your entire payroll and grows with every hire; a per-user price is multiplied by the people who actually open the system — usually a small administrative group — and a flat plan stays put however much you hire. This is why a fifty-employee business can be several times cheaper on a flat plan, and why the opposite holds for a small, stable team.

At Snad: pricing is by the number of system users, not headcount — 149 SAR per month for Basic with three users, 399 for Pro with five, and 20 SAR per month per extra user. The number of employees on the payroll does not change the bill.

    The five cost components

Ask any vendor about these five before signing — not about the advertised price alone.

    The five cost components
ComponentThe question that reveals itAt Snad
The pricing unitIs the price per employee on the payroll, per user who opens the system, or a flat plan?A flat plan with a user count — headcount does not enter the calculation
Base subscriptionIs the price monthly or annual? Does it include VAT?149 SAR per month for Basic and 399 for Pro, with annual billing saving two months
The payroll productIs payroll inside the HR system, or a sibling product with a second subscription and a second setup?HR and payroll are one app within the plan — no second subscription
The accounting systemIf the system specialises in HR, what will the accounting software you need alongside it cost?Accounting and e-invoicing sit inside the same plan
Implementation and trainingIs there a one-off setup, employee-data migration, or training fee? Does it change above a certain headcount? No setup or training fees — sign-up is self-service and you start immediately
SupportIs support included or a separate package? What are its hours?Support is included on every plan, including the free one

A worked example: fifty employees and four administrators

The business has fifty employees, but only four people actually open the system: an HR manager, an accountant, a manager and a payroll officer. The calculation below uses Snad's published figures; run it for any other system across its six components — and check its pricing unit first.

    Pro plan — monthly399 SAR
The four administratorsIncluded (Pro covers five)
The fifty employees on the payrollNot part of the pricing
    Accounting and e-invoicingIncluded
    Implementation, training, support0 SAR
    Monthly total399 SAR

Billed annually: 3990 SAR per year — the cost of ten months rather than twelve.

Adding a sixth user brings the cost to 419 SAR per month.

Run the same calculation on a per-employee system: multiply by fifty rather than four, then add the separate accounting subscription — that is where the difference lives, not in the advertised price.
