  • Permanent free plan — no credit card

Free sales, purchasing and inventory software

Snad's free plan allows up to 3 apps for one user (1), so sales, purchasing and inventory can run on it together — precisely the core that anyone searching the compound phrase is looking for. A transaction is entered once: a sales invoice deducts stock, and a purchase order becomes a receipt that raises the balance. The important limit is that ZATCA-compliant invoicing starts from the paid plans.

The limits — read them before signing up

We state them first, not last: finding out after entering your data is worse than knowing now

    • One user (1)

Enough for an owner who runs things personally. When your accountant or a salesperson needs their own login, upgrading becomes a necessity rather than an improvement — sharing one account costs you the record of who did what.

    • Up to 3 apps

You choose them from all of Snad's apps with no exception — accounting, sales, inventory, point of sale or others. The cap is on the count, not the type, so no app is withheld from the free plan.

    • ZATCA-compliant invoicing is not available

This is the most important limit and you should know it before signing up, not after. You can issue invoices, store them and follow up collection on the free plan, but e-invoicing compliant with the ZATCA system starts from the paid plans. If your business is registered for VAT, this means the free plan does not cover your statutory obligation.

    • A watermark on documents

Documents issued on the free plan carry a Snad mark. It has no operational effect, but it is visible to the customer receiving the document — which is what pushes many businesses to upgrade before any technical reason.

    What you actually get

No monthly fee and no expiry date

    The full sales cycle

A quote that becomes a sales order and then an invoice, with collection tracking and a balance per customer.

    The purchasing cycle and suppliers

Documented purchase orders, receipts that raise stock, and supplier invoices with their balances.

    Inventory with balances and movements

A live balance per item that moves with sales, purchases, returns, transfers and stock counts.

Free inventory calculators with no sign-up

Reorder point, economic order quantity, turnover rate and stock value.

Four kinds of “free” — which is this?

The same word means different things, and the difference decides what you pay later

Four kinds of “free” — which is this?
    KindWhat it means in practice
A permanent free planContinues with no expiry date within published limits — a number of users, apps or features. This is the only kind you can build ongoing operations on, provided its limits are written down before you sign up rather than after.
A temporary free trialFull features for a set period, after which it stops or converts to a subscription. Useful for serious evaluation, but not a permanent solution — and confusing it with a free plan is the most common misunderstanding in this search.
Open-source softwareThe licence is free; running it is not. It needs hosting, updates, backups and someone to handle them. Suitable for a business with in-house technical capacity and expensive for one without — and the cost shows up in people's time rather than in a subscription invoice.
A copy downloaded onto a single machineYour data sits on one machine with no automatic backup, no access from elsewhere and no shared work. Its most serious drawback is that tax compliance becomes entirely your responsibility: e-invoicing in Saudi Arabia has requirements a local file does not meet.

When does the free plan stop being enough?

We write it plainly — knowing the ceiling in advance beats hitting it

    • You needed more than one user — a salesperson and a storekeeper do not work from one account
    • You needed a fourth app, such as point of sale alongside sales, purchasing and inventory
    • You registered for VAT, making compliant invoicing an obligation
    • The watermark started appearing on purchase orders reaching your suppliers
