    How does it work?

A QR Code (Quick Response) is a 2D barcode that stores text or URL data inside a grid of black-and-white squares. Modern phone cameras read it instantly and open the encoded payload (link, phone, payment app). One code holds up to 7,089 digits or 4,296 alphanumeric characters.

    Types supported by this tool

    • URL: site, product page, or payment link.
    • Text: any free-form note.
    • Phone: opens the dialer directly.
    • SMS: opens messaging with a pre-filled body.
    • WiFi: a guest joins the network by tapping the code — no password to type.
    • vCard: digital business card saved straight into contacts.
    • WhatsApp: wa.me link with a pre-filled message for your business numbers.

    Error correction

QR codes embed self-correcting data (Reed-Solomon). The tool uses correction level M (15%), so the code stays scannable even if 15% of its surface is scratched or covered. For outdoor labels, print at ≥ 3 cm to be safe.

    Commercial use cases

    • Invoices: add a QR for the payment link or for ZATCA tax-invoice metadata.
    • Business cards: print a vCard on the back so anyone can save your details with a tap.
    • WiFi: a sticker in the cafe or hotel that joins guests to the network with no password.
    • Print ads: posters, magazines, or screens that take the reader straight to a target URL.
    • Customer support: a WhatsApp Business link with a ready-made enquiry message.
