The full item cycle in one platform

- **Receiving from the supplier:** The quantity raises the branch's balance, and freight and clearance fold into item cost so the margin does not stay on paper.
- **Pricing and a barcode label:** The selling price is computed from cost and a target margin, and the label prints with the price in the branch's currency.
- **Selling at the till:** Scanning the barcode draws down the branch's balance and issues the invoice at its configured tax rate.
- **Deduction and alert:** Hitting the reorder point prepares a purchase order for the shortfall and waits for your approval.
- **Closing the shift and reporting:** Counted against expected, and the entry is created so revenue and cost reach the books.

## Questions from supermarket and grocery owners

### Does the till run on dedicated point-of-sale hardware?

The till opens in the browser on any device with no installation — a dedicated POS terminal, a computer or a tablet — and it supports thermal printers and barcode scanners. Because it is cloud-based it needs an internet connection to issue and record an invoice.

### How many branches can be managed?

Branches are multiple, with independent balances per warehouse and consolidated reports on one dashboard, and stock moves between branches as a recorded electronic transfer rather than a phone call.

### Does Snad track expiry dates?

No. Snad does not currently track expiry dates or batch numbers. It tracks quantities, their movements, damage and returns, but following expiry item by item needs a specialised tool.

### Is the invoice with a QR code and a digital signature?

Yes. The till issues a simplified invoice with a QR code and a digital signature compliant with phase two, printed on the thermal printer the moment the sale completes.

## What Snad does for a business outside Saudi Arabia

- **Tax rate:** configurable. You set the rate that applies to your invoices; it then applies to subsequent invoices and is shown separately from net sales in reports. Snad applies the configured rate and does not determine which rate is correct for a given business.
- **Invoicing currency:** you choose the currency your customers are invoiced in. It is independent of the currency you are billed in for the subscription (USD outside Saudi Arabia).
- **Government e-invoicing portals:** direct integration is available inside Saudi Arabia only. Elsewhere Snad issues invoices with sequential numbering and a QR code, keeps the archive and exports in standard formats, with no direct link to a national portal.
- **Interface:** Arabic and English, per user, in the same account.
