Every shift runs as a session that a cashier opens under their own name and closes at the end of the day. The session records opening and closing times, the number of transactions, the amounts taken, and each seller's performance. At close you compare the cash you actually hold against what the system recorded, then hand over with a clear record. Every session stays in the session log. ### Do I need special POS hardware? No. Snad runs in the browser on any connected laptop or tablet, and supports thermal receipt printers plus barcode and QR scanners for finding items and closing a sale. You can start with the hardware you already own, and run more than one register in the same branch within the user count your plan allows. ### Which warehouse does a sale deduct from? The warehouse of the branch where the sale happened. Snad supports multiple warehouses with independent balances, so a sale comes off that branch's own stock the moment it completes, while consolidated reporting for all branches stays in one dashboard. You can also transfer goods between warehouses digitally and set a reorder-point alert per item per warehouse. ### How do I handle a return on a sale made at the register? You record it as a sales return against the original invoice. Snad issues a credit note to the customer, puts the quantity back into that branch's stock, and reverses the accounting effect of the sale automatically. ### Does the app work for restaurants and coffee shops? Yes. Draw your hall plan, open a bill on each table that grows in batches, and send the ordered items to the kitchen printer alone. ### How does the tables screen work? Each table carries its colour, its status and how long its guests have sat. Move or merge the order, and payment closes it and clears the table. ### Does printing reach the kitchen directly? Yes. Before that there is no entry and no stock movement, so sales reports show what was actually collected. ## What Snad does for a business outside Saudi Arabia - **Tax rate:** configurable. You set the rate that applies to your invoices; it then applies to subsequent invoices and is shown separately from net sales in reports. Snad applies the configured rate and does not determine which rate is correct for a given business. - **Invoicing currency:** you choose the currency your customers are invoiced in.
