Three situations where a store loses its repeat customer without noticing - **A discount with no trace:** The cashier discounts people they know, and nobody knows the total or who received it. A balance turns the favour into a rule with a report. - **A card that gets stamped and lost:** A paper card in a wallet is forgotten at home. The link on the phone shows the balance at any branch in any country. - **Feedback asked for at the door:** A spoken request is forgotten before the customer reaches the car. A code on the receipt and a message after payment arrive at the moment of satisfaction. ## Frequently asked questions about the loyalty program ### Is a balance added for everyone who pays? No. It needs a saved customer with a phone number. A payment with no customer, or a customer without a phone number, adds nothing, and the cashier sees the reason on screen. ### Which amount is the balance calculated on? The pre-tax amount, excluding extra charges. The calculation runs on the server when the transaction is created, not on the till screen. ### What if several discounts meet on the same transaction? One order that never changes: manual discount, then coupon, then gift voucher, then points, then cash back. The server recalculates and rejects any difference, and the total never goes negative. ### Does the balance work at every branch? Yes. The balance belongs to the customer, not the branch: what was added at one branch is deducted at any other branch of yours, in the same currency. ### And on a return? The balance is reduced in proportion to the returned amount. A gift voucher is the exception: a return does not restore it, and only deleting the transaction does. Editing a transaction where a balance was deducted is rejected. ### Can cash back be withdrawn as cash? No. It is a balance in your currency deducted from a transaction at your store only, and it is never paid out in cash. ### How does the customer see their balance? From their wallet link on their phone: fixed per customer, with no account and no password, showing the balance, its value, its validity and the record of movements. Nothing is spent from it outside your store. ### Do balances expire? As you set it: after a number of months, or never. Expired balances are removed daily, the customer gets an alert before expiry with the lead time you choose, and you get an alert when balances expire. ### Is loyalty on every plan? Yes. Every Snad app is on every plan, and it counts toward the apps running at the same time. User count follows your plan, and an extra user is 5 per month on the two paid plans. ## What Snad does for a business outside Saudi Arabia - **Tax rate:** configurable. You set the rate that applies to your invoices; it then applies to subsequent invoices and is shown separately from net sales in reports. Snad applies the configured rate and does not determine which rate is correct for a given business. - **Invoicing currency:** you choose the currency your customers are invoiced in. It is independent of the currency you are billed in for the subscription (USD outside Saudi Arabia). - **Government e-invoicing portals:** direct integration is available inside Saudi Arabia only.
