Snad vs Qoyod: Full 2026 Comparison at Official Prices

The comparison between Snad and Qoyod is one of the questions our team is asked most, and it makes sense. Both are Saudi. Both are cloud systems with Arabic interfaces. Both comply with e-invoicing for the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA). And both target small and medium businesses.

Qoyod (Riyadh, 2016) is one of the pioneers of Saudi cloud accounting and has built a solid reputation among accountants. Snad (2025) is younger and arrived with an all-in-one philosophy. Before we begin: this is an article written by the Snad team. Our bias is declared, and the remedy for it is documented figures taken from both systems' own sites in July 2026, plus an explicit account of where Qoyod beats us.

The fundamental difference is not one feature here and another there. It is the structure of the offer itself:

• Qoyod: an accounting core plus add-ons you buy. The plan gives you accounting, invoices, inventory and assets. On top of that you add what you need: point of sale at SAR 600 per user per year (SAR 50/month, excluding VAT, per the Qoyod help center — August 2026), payroll at SAR 120 a year, an extra user at SAR 240, and an extra branch at SAR 480. You pay only for what you use.

• Snad: every app in every plan. All ten apps, from accounting to the cashier, payroll, asset management and bookings, sit inside every plan, including the free one. Plans differ by the number of users and activated apps, so upgrading unlocks more capacity rather than buying functions.

Neither philosophy is absolutely "more correct". Add-ons are cheaper for a business that needs little, and inclusiveness is cheaper for a business that needs a lot. The figures below settle which one you are.

From both official pricing pages (Qoyod billed annually, Snad billed monthly or annually with a two-month discount):

• Qoyod Basic: SAR 1,200 a year (about SAR 100 a month) for one user and one branch.
• Qoyod Professional: SAR 1,800 a year (about 150 a month) for 3 users and 3 branches.
• Qoyod Advanced: list price SAR 3,300 a year (about 275 a month), and you may find promotional offers below that.

• Snad Starter: SAR 0, for one user and three apps, permanently.
• Snad Basic: SAR 149 a month, for 3 users and five apps.
• Snad Pro: SAR 399 a month, with 5 users and unlimited apps, an extra user at SAR 20 a month, and e-invoicing built in.

The example that makes the two philosophies clear: a shop that needs accounting plus a cashier plus payroll for three users. With Qoyod: Professional 1,800 + cashier 600 + payroll 120 = SAR 2,520 a year. With Snad: Basic 149 × 12 = SAR 1,788 a year, or SAR 1,490 on annual billing (two months free), with the same functions inside the plan for three users. Now reverse the example for a business that wants accounting only, with one user: Snad Starter covers it at no cost, and if it needs more than three apps, Basic is SAR 1,490 on annual billing against 1,200 with Qoyod — so Qoyod is cheaper in that narrow case specifically. The wider your needs, the more the scale tips toward Snad; the narrower they are, the more it tips toward Qoyod.

Here the two systems compete on almost level ground:

• Both provide a full general ledger, journal entries, financial reports, Value Added Tax, fixed assets and multi-warehouse inventory.

• Both declare compliance with Phase Two of e-invoicing. Snad builds it into the Pro plan (and offers it as an option in Basic) with a digital signature, XML and PDF/A-3, and Qoyod declares it across its plans.

• A point for Qoyod: more years in the market mean tested accounting maturity and a base of external accountants who are used to the system. If your chartered accountant works in Qoyod every day, that is real value.

• A point for Snad: journal entries are generated automatically from operations. A cashier sale, a salary payment and an inventory movement all post themselves because they happen inside the same system, whereas accounting in Qoyod stays fed by its narrower modules and add-ons.

This is where the paths genuinely diverge:

• Point of sale: at Qoyod it is an add-on costing SAR 600 per user per year on top of the plan (Qoyod help center — August 2026). At Snad it is a full app inside every plan that works without an internet connection and feeds its inventory and accounting in real time. If you run a shop or a restaurant, that difference is a daily one, not a theoretical one.

• Payroll and HR: Qoyod offers payroll as an add-on (SAR 120 a year). Snad offers full HR: payroll under the Saudi Labor Law, GOSI calculated by nationality, end-of-service gratuity, plus leave and attendance, all within the plan.

• Asset management: both provide it. Score it as a draw for the two of them, in a category many vendors neglect.

Choose Qoyod if:

• Your need is pure accounting with a single user and you have no plans for a cashier or payroll. Its accounting core is excellent and mature.

• Your external accountant works in Qoyod for their clients and you care about keeping them in familiar surroundings.

• You prefer a company with a longer track record in the market, even if the add-ons cost you more later.

Choose Snad if:

• You need a cashier, payroll or more than one user, either today or within two years. The arithmetic above tilts clearly our way as the need widens.
